Official Model Casting Guidelines

Model Casting Call – Sunday, August 2, 2026

 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a model for The Fashion Week Experience's RUNWAYS ON FIRE 2026, presented by HealthJox Foundation, Inc. Our casting is designed to identify confident, professional, and diverse models who are ready to showcase the collections of emerging and established designers during our live runway event in Father Duffy Square, Times Square, New York City.

We welcome models of all ethnicities, genders, backgrounds, body types, and experience levels. Whether you are an experienced runway model or making your runway debut, we encourage you to audition.

Casting Information

Date: Sunday, August 2, 2026

Registration:
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled casting time.

Models arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be accommodated.

Casting Attire

Female Models

• Solid black fitted top or bodysuit

• Black skinny jeans or leggings

• Black high heels (4 inches preferred)

• Natural makeup

• Hair clean, styled, and runway-ready

• Minimal jewelry and accessories

• ​

Male Models

• Solid black fitted T-shirt or tank

• Black fitted jeans or tailored pants

• Clean sneakers or dress shoes

• Groomed hair and facial hair

• No hats, hoodies, or oversized clothing

Please Bring

• One headshot

• One full-body photograph

• Modeling résumé or comp card (if available)

• Government-issued photo ID

• Water bottle

• A positive attitude and confidence

Casting Evaluation

Each model will be evaluated on:

• Runway walk and posture

• Confidence and poise

• Stage presence

• Professionalism

• Ability to follow direction

• Personality

• Overall presentation

• Compatibility with participating designers

Models may also be photographed and interviewed briefly during the audition process.

Selected Models Must

• Attend all required fittings

• Participate in the official rehearsal

• Arrive on time for all scheduled activities

• Maintain a professional attitude throughout the production

• Respect designers, production staff, volunteers, photographers, and fellow models

• Follow all backstage and runway instructions

Important Information

• Participation in the casting does not guarantee placement in the show.

• Final model selections will be made by participating designers and the production team.

• Models may be selected to walk for one or multiple designers.

• Professional photographs and video captured during the casting and the event may be used by The Fashion Week Experience and HealthJox Foundation, Inc. for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes.
